We started with a question. What if a cup of coffee could be a love letter, to a daughter, to a mother, to an island?
Sip N’ Pretty is a mother-and-daughter project. The boutique upstairs was the first dream. The café tucked into its back wall was the second, and it was named, drink by drink, after the women who showed up for it. The Wehi, soft and warm, for the woman who started it all. The Ani, golden with honey lilikoʻi cold foam, for the daughter shaping what this place becomes. The Hicarpenter. The Fancy. The Lāʻie Honey. Each one ordered into existence.
Our syrups don’t come from a catalog. They’re built from these islands, ‘alaea sea salt from the red-clay coast, mac nut from Hāmākua, honey from Oʻahu beekeepers, vanilla cured in Lāʻie. We pour full-caffeine espresso only. We do not believe in decaf.
